Hearing from God: He Speaks through Others...part 3

Once again, Kacie Miura allows God to speak through one of her gifts to others:

The Filling

Clouds sink under the weight
of the Counselor’s footsteps,
sending rain cascading
onto my open palms and
into the hollow shell of my soul.

My heart becomes an ark
of eternal love,
floating in the mighty floodwaters,
which rise to fill my mind
with words washed in faith.

“Soak in my Spirit,”
He said in a still voice.
“When you are ready,
the waters will recede
in a steady stream of compassion
that will flow out from the corners of your eyes
and onto the parched regions
of people unreached.

Then you will stand in worship
with thousands more
gathered daily by my seraphs
to sing of salvation
on the golden threshold
of my glorious throne.”
